2014 was indeed a great year at Fabila's Fitness Club. We launched three fitness programs: Gospel Aerobics, Body Barre Fitness and Zumba Sentao. We also played host to Nigeria's first fitness carnival "Shape Up Naija" which brought together the best of Nigeria's health and fitness industry.
We were in the media more times this year, promoting health living on radio and social media. We also had articles published in the "Savvy & Chic" beauty magazine. We had more collaborations with other fitness houses, and we got new clients every month of the year. We are thankful to God and our clients who continue to give us joy and motivates us to be innovative. 2015 will surely be greater and we shall continue to bring you the best fitness services.
P lantains are widely eaten in West Africa. Plantains are similar to bananas but larger in size. While bananas are termed fruits, plantains are vegetables. Bananas are mostly eating raw, while plantains are usually cooked before consumption. Plantains can be eaten unripe, ripen or over-ripe. When unripe, plantains are usually green in colour, when ripen, they turn yellow. In Nigeria, for example, unripe plantains are usually used to cook plantain porridge, ripe plantains are mostly fried and used as a supplement to main dishes like rice and beans. Over-ripe plantains are used to make snacks like plantain fritters.
