Fabila's Fitness Club

It was another fun Saturday for me. Today (December 2 2017), a one of a kind event was hosted by celebrity actress and fitness enthusiast Kate Henshaw. The event was titled "Kates Fit 4 Life" and featured top trainers Esta Morenikeji, Adura O, France, TL and myself (Fabila)! Guests went through a number of workout routines, fitness challenges and it was raining prizes. MC Abbey was the Master of Ceremony and DJ Jimmy Jatt was the official DJ. The event was put together by FK Management. It was an honor to be part of this event. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy! Hello Fitfam nation! It's been a minute! Last week Saturday, November 25, 2017 was the second edition of the FitFam Fest and we partnered with the organizers to handle the zumba fitness session. The event was held at the Ember Creek, Landmark Towers, Water Corporation Drive Lagos. The event featured lots of fitness activities, including Zumba, my favourite sport!!! I handled the zumba session and it was super fun! The event was overall well put together and I look forward to the next edition. See more pictures after the cut... My last breakfast zumba session was loads of fun! It was great instructing my first class postpartum. I had missed working out in a group. I was happy to see my clients as well as meet new faces. 2 014 was indeed a great year at Fabila's Fitness Club. We launched three fitness programs: Gospel Aerobics, Body Barre Fitness and Zumba Sentao. We also played host to Nigeria's first fitness carnival "Shape Up Naija" which brought together the best of Nigeria's health and fitness industry.

I t was a dream come true for me on August 13, 2014. I was finally at the Zumba Convention 2014. My desire to attend the Zumba convention began a year ago after watching the "Fitness Concert" on the Zumba Exhilarate DVD collection. In fact, that was when my quest to know more about Zumba started. Who was behind it? who were the beautiful ladies and energetic men I saw in my DVDs? etc. I just wanted to know more. I am a ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) member and as a result receive quarterly Education materials from the Zumba company. I used to watch the DVDs, but never paid attention to the instructors in them. All of that changed. I now knew these instructors by name, I followed my favorites on twitter and instagram and of course, my desire to attend the Convention grew daily.
